What is the STAT™?

The STAT™ (Screening Tool for Autism in Toddlers and Young Children) is a Level 2 screener for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in children aged 24–36 months. Developed at Vanderbilt’s TRIAD, it uses 12 play-based activities to assess ASD risk in 20 minutes, offering high sensitivity (83–100%) and specificity (80–95%) for early identification.

How do I purchase additional STAT™ Test Protocols?

What is the expected time for delivery of STAT™ materials and online course access?

Orders are processed and shipped within 5–10 business days, with tracking information provided. Online course access is granted instantly upon payment via the “My premium content” section at vueinnovations.com/premium.

How do I access the STAT™ Training and Certification portal after purchase?

Upon order processing, two automated emails are sent to the trainee’s email listed in the order:

How do I get trained after purchasing the STAT™ Test Kit?

The STAT™ Test Kit includes an access code for one user to complete the online Training Tutorial. Follow the tutorial’s instructions to complete the post-test. Upon completion, you’ll receive an online message with your score and certification status. Our team will email a certificate or next steps. Additional certifications require purchasing tutorial logins via our licensing page.

How do I purchase additional STAT™ training certifications for my organization?

Does the STAT™ Training Tutorial offer continuing education credit?

Continuing education credit is not currently available for the STAT™ Training Tutorial. Our team at Vanderbilt School of Medicine is working to resume accreditation. Check our Contact Us page for updates.

Can I train others in my organization to administer the STAT™ after completing the Training Tutorial?

No, the STAT™ Training Tutorial certifies individual users only. Additional clinicians must complete the tutorial or a STAT™ Training Workshop. Email Amy Swanson, M.A. or call (615) 322-6533 for workshop details.

When will I receive my certificate after passing the STAT™ Training Tutorial Post-Test?
